What Is Genting Rewards Membership?

Genting Rewards is a loyalty programme offered by Resorts World™ Sentosa (RWS) where members can earn rebate, in the form of Genting Points (GP), for their spending at participating outlets – which can be redeemed to offset future purchases.
Besides earning-as-you-spend, you get to enjoy appealing discounts and exclusive privileges (including birthday surprises!) at selected hotels, restaurants and attractions such as the Universal Studios.
How To Become A Genting Rewards Member?
Membership is free for all individuals above the age of 21, regardless of nationality. You can apply in person at any of the Membership Counters located near the casino at RWS.
If you are a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident, you will need to present your NRIC for verification purposes. For foreign residents, you will need to present your original passport or employment pass. As such, the membership is strictly non-transferable (i.e. you cannot transfer the membership to another person).
Upon successful application, you will receive a physical Genting Rewards membership card. Do note that you are required to present your Genting Rewards Membership Card personally to enjoy membership benefits and privileges. In the event that you lose your card, a replacement fee applies.
How Does Genting Rewards Membership Work?
Every dollar spent earns you one Genting Point (or Genting Dollar). Genting Dollar (GD) is the virtual currency you use to spend at participating merchants when you earn Genting Point (GP).
There are four membership tiers (Classic, Silver, Gold, Platinum) in the Genting Rewards programme, each comes with varying level of privileges. All new members will start from the Classic tier, which is the basic tier, and your membership tier will be automatically reviewed based on the Genting Points you earn within a 12-month period.
While there is no information on the membership tier on the RWS Genting Rewards site, we refer to the official Resort World Genting site as a general gauge. The table below shows the minimum GP required for each membership tier:
