What Is IKEA Family Membership? 

With over 110 million members worldwide, the IKEA Family Membership is a free loyalty programme that is open to everyone to join with no membership fees.  

Just like every other membership programme, the IKEA Family Membership allows you to earn reward points for in-store purchases and redeem them as cash back to offset your spending. You can earn reward points by spending at any of the IKEA-affiliated stores, including, official IKEA outlets, online stores, restaurant, bistro and food market.  

Every S$1 spent is equivalent to 1 IKEA Family point, and every 500 points (or S$500 spent) will earn you S$5, which means that you enjoy 1% cash back as a member.  

How To Become An IKEA Family Member? 

You can sign up in-store at one of the IKEA Family digital screens, or online directly, to become an IKEA Family Member. You will receive a digital card instantly upon successful registration, which you can use to start enjoying the membership benefits instantly. The physical card will be mailed to you within 4 weeks of registration.  

Do note that you will need to create an IKEA account first before you are able to sign up for the membership.   

What Kind Of Membership Benefits Do I Have?

#1 Monthly Product Offers 

You will be pleased to know that there are monthly products offers and exclusive discounts for IKEA Family members. #2 Bi-monthly Dining Discounts

Earn $10 Cashback Every Year While Getting Insured  

IKEA has created HEMSÄKER, a type of home insurance that covers customers for repair and replacement costs at only $59 per year. Some of the claimable expenses include: repairing or replacing damaged household possessions and furnishing (up to $50,000), cost of damage to renovations (up to $50,000), loss or damage from a burglary (up to $5,000), medical costs in case of disability or death due to an accident at home (up to $50,000), as well as expenses incurred as a result of accidental damage to someone’s property (up to $500,000).  

In the event that you have not made any claim under your policy with IKEA, you will receive an additional 1,000 IKEA Family points (worth $10) every year that you can redeem as cashback.
